reprint of deck handpainted in Milan about 1450 after marriage in 1441 of Bianca Maria
Visconti (1425-1468)
daughter of last Visconti, duke of Milan, and Francesco Sforza (1401-1466).
They are painted in Trionfo card VI, Love, in 2 of Cups it is
written "amor myo", "my love", "drink health".
In many cards it is written "a bon droyt", in the side of the
law, a french motto of Visconti.
Many symbols of family Visconti and Sforza there are, for example coins from 2
to 10 Coins are radiant suns,
1 of Cups is a hexagonal fountain, 3 rings interlaced painted in clothes of Empereur and
Empress.
4 playing cards missed are reconstructed: Trionfo XV Devil, Trionfo XVI Tower, 3 of
Spades and Cavalier of Coins.
